In the swing of things.

We are getting use to our school schedule now. Gigi has been a trooper getting up early and going to school. Lexi is getting use to being home by herself during the day. We are working on letters and sound while Gigi is studying hard in the second grade. Her spelling words this week are pretty simple so she shouldn't have any troubles with it. :)

We had a very important vistor this week. The Tooth Fairy has made her first trip to our home. Gigi lost her first tooth Monday night. After a lot of negotiating, I was finally able to wiggle the tooth out. Not pull but wiggle. Here's what the terms were:

1. ice cream after bedtime
2. TV while sleeping
3. sleeping in my bed.

This weekend we went to the Canfield Fair, which is rumored to be the biggest county fair in the country. I do have to say it's bigger than the VA state fair. Here are some random pictures from fair.

Don't forget to check out AMR for great challenges and their monthly kit. Also if you are in the NE Ohio and want to meet some fun scrapping ladies, check out this meetup group.

I hope everyone has a great day!!
ta-ta for now!!

  1. glad that you girls are settling into the school routine...i am missing sleeping in!...the pics are great!...

  2. Congrats to Gigi! Great pictures Beth!

  3. OMG! thats a huge pumpkin....

My DGS's tooth is loose too..... He's all excited about the tooth fairy... He's in 1st grade and finally settling in, his step brother still isn't used to being home by himself.... He's 4 1/2 and I have to admit, I'm enjoy the quiet... Less argueing between the two during the school year...
    Have a great weekend...

  4. Hi, Elizabeth!! Congrats to Gigi for hitting a major milestone!! I remember losing my first tooth - it was a long, drawn-out battle that I suppose I won in the end.

Thanks for visiting my blog the other day :) Your comment made me smile. I'll be posting new projects every day this week, so stop on by if you have a chance!
