Blessed

I did another LO for the OLW challenge. I'm not in love with how it looks in the photo, it looks better in person. I might try to take a better picture tomorrow. One of my problems here is that I don't get natural sunlight. If you ask why, it's because this part of Ohio does not get sunshine! It's crazy I know but it's doesn't shine here. It's sort of depressing afterwhile. I'm trying to get use to it. :) Anyway here the LO. It's of me and Tony on our wedding day.

I've also did a couple more LOs too. One is of Lexi playing with bubblewrap. She had a blast with it. :) The other was inspired by my friend CJ, she found this challenge on the Cord Camera MB. It's an ode to your favorite drink. I can't remember the last time I drank so the bottles are sitting around gathering dust waiting for me to drink one night. It was fun to have a photoshoot with some of my bottles of liquor. I had to do the photoshot while the girls were upstairs pretending to clean their room. I didn't want to explain why they couldn't have the pretty juices.

I've won a couple blog awards lately. Thanks to some fabulous girls on the AMR!! Thanks ladies! Nicole gave me this cutie:
Jenn a fellow Ohioian (I think I spelled that right) gave me this one!
I think I suppose to pass them on, but I think everyone got them already. If not, help yourself you've been awarded.
Well that's all for this time, btw it's a record 3 updates in a row!! whoo hoo!!

Please meet Mr. Mojo

In March I've made like 29 LOs. I have found Mr. Mojo and I like having him about. I've been a scrappin fool. Anyway, when Mr. Mojo leaves us behind it makes each of us sad in our own way. Well, with all the talk of flat scrapper traveling the country, I've decided to make a Flat Mr. Mojo. My Mr. Mojo is a hottie. I'm willing to let him out and travel around to anyone who needs a little mojo. I think he's helpful in scrapping, card design and all organizing needs.
Oh yeah...he looks like Brad Pitt ;)
If you want to borrow him let me know.

Busy, Busy, Busy

I've been doing a lot of guilt free scrapping at night. My hubby loves to play computer games and I have no problems with that, because I can scrap to my little hearts content. Believe it or not, we are in the same room while enjoying our hobbies. The girls are sleeping and my scissors are cutting. I've had my mojo for like a week or two now. I just hope he continues to stick around. I've found challenges to be very helpful and very inspirational. Plus they make me try new things.

Here's one of my recent LOs. I actually did paper piecing on it. It's for the Method Playground Challenge. I made the owl! My exacto knife and I sort of became friends. I always say I have trouble with it because I'm a lefty. It's just an excuse I know. I like this LO because of the colors. I think the brown brings out the other vibrant colors. Plus I think the expressions on the girls face's is priceless. Oh I also have a new love for Thickers, they are soo much fun!
Well that's all for today. Thanks for visiting!!

Happy Tuesday... Almost Wednesday!

Well I did get good news today... MY BFF finally got to close on her new house. Yey!! Bekah! You can check out her blog..Look under my scrappy sister. I can't wait for July to come see your new house in person. (Yes, it's been pushed back a month)

Other good news, We got Tony a new radio for his truck. Whoo hoo!! He's very excited; he can listen to all the AM radio he wants to now.

Oh also, Heather chose my newest LO to be featured today day on the AMR MB. I'm so honored to be picked with so many fabulous scrappers in our little community.

Yesterday I had a great mail day. Wowzer I got my ATG everyone has been telling me to get it, so I did. I've been scrapping like mad and I figured I'd save money on glue and adhesive. So far..so good with that huge tape gun. I also got my AMR March Kit and Add on Kit....Heather and Stacey did a fabulous job designing this kit. Now I'm looking forward to April's Kit. The countdown has begun. Here are my latest LOs. I've been really scrappy at night after the girls are in bed and waiting for Tony to get home or while he's been on the computer playing games. I have been inspired by all this wonderful materail I have to work with .

This LO was in spired by a challenge on the Cord Camera MB...I lurk over there once in a while. They have a sketched post. Of course I didn't do anything close to the sketch but I was inspired by it. I'm not posting it there though.
The next LO was done with the Studio Calico Kit. Their Kit was wonderful. I'm sure I'll get a few more LOs out of it.
These 2 LO were done with the AMR kit!! I know I will get many more LOs out of it. I just hope my mojo just sticks around. I have locked up in my house, you all are more than welcome to come here to cold Ohio and play with me!!
This LO was the one featured today. :)
Well that's all for this moment. i'll be back soon! :)

Happy Easter and Spring!!

Happy Easter everyone!! And Happy Spring. I'm excited it's spring, more than you could possibly know. Well, when we work up this morning the ground was covered in a blanket of snow. It was pretty but I hope it was the last major snow fall of the year! Here's what my yard looked like this morning:

While we were running errands this morning I took this picture. This church is gorgeous, but more so cover under a layer of perfect snow. If I got married in Ohio, here's where it would have happened. I just love this church, it's so pretty.

Today the girls and I colored eggs. They've already eaten half of what we made. These girls love eggs. They also love to decorate and alter them. We had some really cute eggs made. Hopefully there will be one or two left over for Tony when he gets home from work tonight.

I did one layout yesterday with my Studio Calico kit. I think it turned out fairly well. I used the first pictures of Gigi ever taken. I will definately get more LOs done this week because school out. I don't have class and Gigi doesn't have class...whoo hoo for us!!

I hope everyone gets lots of candy!!!

Mr. Mojo!!

Okay so Mr. Mojo has officially move into my house. You all are more than welcome to come here and play with him. Just please put him back when you are done with him. Thanks!

I've been busy scrapping the past few nights. Either I'm waiting for Tony to get home from work or while he's playing Lord of the Rings on the computer. Our dining room is my scraproom, computer room and we eat there too. We get alot of use out of this room. This room has fabulous windows. Just lookie!

I'm so looking forward to my mailman coming this week. I have the kit coming from the AMR as well as Studio Calio. I can't wait to get scrappy with my new stuff. I'm so excited!! But till later this week I will work with what I have. My goal is not to purchase anything scrappy except my kits each month. Now I know I will need adhesive. I'm considering an ATG just because I'm scrapping like mad.
I made this LO from Valentines Day this year!
Here's another I did. I used the Heidi Swapp mask to make the flower pattern. It was the first time I used a mask. I really like how it turned out. I will continue to use them in the future. Oh I also used beads again. I have them now, so I might as well use them. :)
I hope everyone has a great day!

Finding Time!

This weekend I decided to try the OLW challenge. Here's there blog One Little Word. Check it out, they have alot of great challenges inspired by one word. This weeks word was "FIND". This was hard for me to "find" an idea for. So, I went through my pictures and this one was perfect. It's stack of book along with my baby's art. It shows who I am. A picture tells a 1,000 words, right?
I've really turned into a challenge type of girl. I enjoy stepping out of my little happy zone, I believe it's helping me evolve a creative person. Creativity is something that I've discovered in me through out the last year.
Sorry so short!

Happy Anniversay to me!!

8 years ago today I married a great man. Geez, I can't believe it's been 8 years. We still have lots of fun together and we always play and laugh. It's hard to believe but we've never had a fight. We know how to talk to each other and compromise. I wouldn't change a moment of what we've had. I truely love him. I can't wait to see what the rest of our lives will be like.

We were engaged for about a year and a half. Neither one of us wanted a big wedding, so I called my mother and told her Tony and I are getting married in 3 weeks you can be there or not. (long story--he doesn't like Tony much) She came and paid for our wedding as well as my dress. *It's more of a dress than I wanted, but you can't say no to my mom* We had a cute ceremony in Mrytle Beach there were only 8 guest there. Tony's dad drove down from Ohio.

Oh, cute story- I was on spring break from VCU the week we got married. Ofcourse alot of people celebrated Spring Break at Mrytle Beach. My father-in-law found the only room left on the beach. His room right next to the road, there were cruisers going up and down the strip and people were partying all around his room. Now, our room was on the 8th floor and we had 2 beds. We offered him the other bed, on our wedding night. He turned it down but we offered. :) He had a long drive the next day.

Well I've done a lot of scrapping this weekend. I did 6 LOs and finished my ATC cards. I had a blast scrapping. I as part of an online crop this weekend. I did different challenges. I won a RAK from Rachel's Challenge. I had to incorporate a clothing tag. The only thing I could find was an "Express" price tag.

This weekend I purchased Sure Cuts Alot a software program that works with the Cricut and it's cuts TT fonts. I love it. I'm not worried about it mess up my Cricut. It cuts letters nicely. What I spend on this program, I will save on buy different cartridges. You can find different fonts to cut different shapes. The program now does shadowing and welding. I can't wait to play with it some more. The LO below I used SCA to cut the letters.
Here's some other LOs that I did this weekend.
Thanks for looking at everything!

It's Saturday....now!

I've been really bad about update my little blog here lately. I'm almost done with this quarter of of school. Next week my final project due, I thought it was due this week.....oops! Well it's mostly done now. I just need to add an external style sheet to it and it's pretty much done. So mostly this week I've had my nose in HTML/JavaScript. I've also setup my own webpage. It's new and underconstruction but I have it up and running. You can stop by and look at it if you want. Here's the site: My Scrappy World

This week I haven't done too much scrappy goodness because of school. I did get a couple LOs done. I'm not loving them but they are completed. I started these at my weeky gathering. I finished them here at home.
Oh BTW I love my cart. I think it's going to be helpful here at home too. I'm not going to unpack it. I will be working out of it tomorrow for online crop at the The AMR. It's the monthly crop to unveil the monthly kit and a new DT member. I hope to see you all there. Gigi and Lexi is looking forward to cropping. Gigi even sketched a LO in her diary tonight.
Well it's a good thing we have this crop tomorrow because we are in a middle of another snow storm. It's march, so can some one tell Winter to go home and let Spring stay awhile. :)
Have a great night!!

I'm so tired tonight!

I'm just doing a little update tonight. I feel as if, my laptop has become an extention of my hand this week. I've been busy with school work and photoshop/html stuff. I'm loving every second of it though.

This week I've only done 1 LO, it was to show my scrappy group an example of how to use heat embossing. I haven't been very scrappy but I will do some this week coming up. Plus when Tony's home I don't like to scrap, I like spending time with him. He had the weekend off, so we spend time as family. we've ate out at CiCi (the girls love that place), we have had Mortal Kombat Wars. Of course, I'm the MK Champion of the house. Tonight we spend time and had dinner with his brother's family and parents. It was nice to see everyone. My MIL and I made plans to go to a flea market in 2 weeks. I'm hoping to find some interesting stuff.

Okay, more scrap related stuff. I lost my favorite scissor this week. They were my fiskars, they were so sharp and lovely. I thought at left them at my weekly crop, but no such luck. Ugh, oh well. I decided I needed a better system to carry my stuff so I used my 50% off coupon and bought a rolly cart. I think I will love using it once I organize it. I also found some cute paper at Michael's and discounted paper at Joann's.

The AMR has the cutes little notebooks coming in stock. You should drop what your doing and order them now. Here check them out:

Okay, do have to thank everyone for their lovely comments this week about the ScrapBuzz graphic. I had a blast doing it for her. I feel like I've been published this week. Thank you everyone for adding it to your blog and for promoting this wonderful informative site.

I hope everyone had a great week and has a wonderful Monday!!
