Kites & More

All I can say is it's been a wonderful day. It has hit 80 degrees here in N-E Ohio!! Today I went to a kite festival with the girls and friends. We had a wonderful time. There were kites and a life size Candy Land Game. Gigi won the candyland game (whoo hoo).

Isn't this just the coolest kite ever?? It looks like a monster attacking a playground.

After the kite festival because it was so warm..we didn't want to go home. We decided to head to Volant which is Amish country. It's so beautiful there and I just adore the Amish. I tried to respect their beliefs but I accidentally took a picture of a little Amish boy. I didn't notice it until I started editing the photos. He was in the shadows. (oops). Once we went inside this mill we saw the same little boy chugging on a Mt. Dew. It really amused me to see that. He was drinking Mt. Dew while staring at my girls like they were crazy.

isn't it cute?? I'm going to use it to shake powdered sugar on whatever I make.

Okay....now I have scrapped a little this week.
This one I did using an inspired blueprint sketch. They have fabulous sketches...check them out. I might try to do another one tonight. :)

Spring break is over...

We had such a blast this week. I'm so sad it's over but..Gigi had to go back to school. Lexi and I got to do some extra snuggling this morning before she had to do her own school work.

busy busy

Gotta love holiday weekends.
The girls had a blast this weekend. They did everything from dying eggs to hunting them.






They are going to enjoy spring break..I'm hoping they won't get to bored.
On Easter evening, I scrapped with one of my friends and accomplished the following LOs.

It's back!!

It snowed yesterday and it returned my mojo! Whoo to the hoo!!

I made this for Chris'(aka enabler...lol) Challenge on Ally Scraps and Scrap Whispers (I doubled dipped).

I have plans for another couple LOs. :) Hopefully I'll post again soon. :)

Just in case you thought I was joking about the snow. This is what we woke up to yesterday.

I scrapped

Yep, last night I played with paper!! Whoo hoo!!


It's for the 52 sketches blog! It was a fun sketch to get my mojo flowing. Hopefully I will scrap some more today. It's raining out so, we won't be going outside to play.

Yesterday afternoon the girls and I were outside. I'm so glad they can burn off that energy by playing outside again.
